Behind the Camera

You might be wondering who’s behind the camera. My name is Laura. I’m a full-time, award-winning photographer. Wife to Scott, a seriously accomplished wedding photographer himself. Mother to two young sons (that’s us, there on the right). Escapee from the corporate world. Former alien (resident alien, that is, born in the UK). Little sister. Dog lover. Chocolate addict. All-around lucky woman.

Like many professional photographers, my love affair with cameras began early in my childhood, when my beloved stuffed monkey became my first portrait client. In 2002, Scott and I formed Wallflower Photography, and built it into one of the Puget Sound region’s best-known wedding photography studios. Wearing our Wallflower hats, we continue to be blessed with devoted clients, a great reputation in the local community, and numerous international awards.

As more and more of our wedding clients started to come to us for baby portraits, I really started to enjoy photographing something new, and every bit as special. So we launched Bump & Bambino to specifically cater to this tiny clientele.
