Ideally, there are six portrait sessions that we want to hold with each and every newborn. They are based more on developmental milestones than specific ages because babies develop at different speeds.

Our comprehensive record of your child's milestones covers:

Maternity %u2014 somewhere between weeks 32 and 36

Newborn %u2014 between days 6 and 10

(this is an important window, try not to miss it!)

Head Control %u2014 between 2 and 4 months

Alert and Interactive %u2014 between 4 and 6 months

Sitting %u2014 between 6 and 9 months

First Year %u2014 either portraits at 12 months, or event photography at your child's first birthday party!

Our 6-session Baby Plan clients typically follow that schedule, but if you'd like a smaller Baby Plan, or if you come to the party a bit late, you can pick whichever intervals you'd like.
