Do you require a minimum order?

Because we recognize that all families are different, we allow a la carte purchasing of framed prints, albums, and other products with no minimum order. We also offer bundled session and product collections at a discounted rate. Please click on our Details tab for additional information.

Can I get high-resolution digital files from my session?

If you%u2019re talking about the high-resolution files necessary for making prints, they are included in any of our Baby Plan multisession packages. That%u2019s the only way to get them. Sorry, no exceptions. However, screen-resolution files are included free of charge with each session! They are optimized for social media sites like Facebook, and for emailing and uploading to online galleries.

Why are your prints more expensive than those from big-box stores or online labs?

There is a huge amount that goes on behind the scenes at a successful professional photography studio. In addition to the time spent directly on your session, there are also countless hours devoted to photo retouching, marketing, first-class customer service, equipment maintenance and technology upgrades, continuing education, and more %u2014 all of which add up to making our studio top-grade with the best possible experience for our clients. Add in the cost of professional-caliber equipment, props, even the power to fuel our lights and computers, and you can see why there%u2019s much more going into your session than just my time behind the camera.

While I hope that you%u2019ll love every single portrait I take, I know that realistically you won%u2019t purchase them all. For that reason, we prefer to keep the session fee low, essentially keeping the bulk of the cost only on the photos and products you want. Our product prices also take into account additional photo processing time, since we%u2019ll often spend a significant amount of time further refining a photo to optimize it for large printing.

We understand that as a family, you have many budget constraints. We work to keep our fees as economical as possible, but more important to us is that we create the very best images, provide the very best customer service, and ensure that we%u2019re still around to take care of your family%u2019s needs for years to come. We do have payment plans available to help spread out the cost as needed.

Delivering a finished product to you ensures that you get the most out of the investment you%u2019ve made in your family%u2019s heritage. Too often we hear of friends or family members who years ago purchased photography but still have a stack of prints stored away in their basement, waiting to be put into albums or frames.

Our artistic vision isn%u2019t limited to the time spent behind the camera or computer; it carries through to the high-end coffee table albums we design, and the amazing products we%u2019ve selected for your choosing. By purchasing finished pieces from our studio, you%u2019re able to leverage our artistic expertise from beginning to end.
